Made-to-order items usually take 4-5 weeks for production and delivery.
The process of making ceramics takes some patience. Depending on the size/style of the project, apart from making time itself, it is very important that the pieces are completely dry. This can take days to weeks depending on various factors, including weather conditions like humidity. Once dry, it goes through the bisque fire after which the pieces can be glazed and then fired at higher temperatures again, making it durable and water proof. When working from open studios, you're also sharing kiln space with other members, so each firing can take 2-3 weeks.
